Registration
- The registration desk will be open on the 30th Oct at 8am. All numbers and race timing chips will be picked up from the registration desk prior to the event. Please bring some form of ID to identify yourself.
- It is recommended that runners arrive at least 60 min to an hour before the start
- The race will start at 10am sharp and will not wait for latecomers
Baggage Area
- Baggage can be stored at runner's risk at the security tent. You will be required to show your race number which will correspond to an attached a label on collection.
Start
- The organized warm up will start at 9:40
- The race will start at 10am sharp.
- Runners will be put into race pens according to race numbers, this is based on projected times, and will help immensely in ensuring a smooth start for everyone.
- Number must be worn on the vest front. Number must not be cut down or altered.
Drinks - Water station will be at 5km and at the finish
- Drinks will be available at the finish.
Finish
- Runners must exchange their timing chip for a ticket that will be handed out.
- The ticket can then be used to redeem the race bag that includes the race T-shirt
- Hot food and drinks at the Endcliffe Park Cafe 50m from the finish line. A special runners menu and possible BBQ will happen on the day.
- Post run massages available from Jess Ennis’ Physio and crew!
Results - Results of the race will be available onsite, and posted online shortly afterwards.
- Prize winners will be announced on the day.

Parking - Ample parking available on Riverdale Road - (potentially up to 400 spaces)

Driving SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC
Leave the M1 at J34 signed Sheffield Arena/Don Valley Sheffield Arena following directions to the A6109 Meadowhall Road towards the city centre. Follow this road to the city centre. Follow the ring road until you reach Eccelsall Rd. follow this until you reach Huntersbar roundabout.
If you get lost Just ask for Eccelsall Rd, Hunters Bar Round about... and follow your nose.
NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC
Leave M1 at J33 following the parkway towards city centre. Follow The ring road past the train station until you reach Eccelsall Rd. Follow this until you reach Huntersbar roundabout.
If you get lost Just ask for Eccelsall Rd, Hunters Bar Round about
Public Transport - Supertram can be taken to the city centre.

Medical Information - The Sheffield TenTenTen 10k may require some dedicated training before the event so please prepare accordingly.
- Full medical support will be provided for the event. If required please approach the first aid tent or a TenTenTen2 race marshal.
- If you feel ill on the day or have experienced flu-like symptoms, diarrhoea or a fever two to three days prior to the event, do not run.
- Please complete the details requested on the reverse of your runners number. This information is invaluable to medical support staff in an emergency. Failure to complete the details may prolong the time taken to give you the correct treatment.
- If you start to feel unwell during the race, slow your pace. Seek advice early from a race marshal or medical staff if you do not improve.
- Sprinting to the finish line will increase stress on your heart. Unless you are an elite competitor then a sprint finish should be avoided.
- It is recommended that runners do not use devices with headphones, as they may not hear Sheffield TenTenTen2 10k marshals' instructions.
